How to Alter Contact Categories

Step 1

Select Preferences.

Step 2

Choose the "Contact Options" tab.

Step 3

 Press the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the window.

Step 4

Type a new category into the text box that appears in the list.

Step 5

Press the "Enter" key to add your new entry to the list.

Step 6

Press "Save and Close" to finish.

In order to remove a category, click on it to highlight it and then press the minus button.
